Option B was correctly marked as the right response but did not have the right feedback.

Option B: 6 Why option B is incorrect. This is the maximum value.

Option B has been amended to reflect the correct feedback.

Option B: Correct! We know that 9 houses have fireplaces. At least one of these must also have a 2-car garage (and therefore a patio as well). At least one other house with a fireplace must have a fireplace only. That leaves a maximum of 7 houses that could have a fireplace and patio, but not a 2-car garage (or eat-in kitchen, which none of the houses with fireplaces have). The minimum number of houses with a fireplace and patio, but not a 2-car garage is 1. Therefore the range is 7_1, which equals 6.
