BAIP News

We have received several inquiries about the availability of BAIP in 2010 and the subscription costs. BAIP will be available and we are working hard to determine how we can best serve the schools of Kansas. As you know, we are continuing to expand BAIP to increase its usefulness to instruction and assessment.  We also have aspirations for broadening the subject coverage beyond Math and Science. Proposals are pending to cover some of these costs. Additionally, we are examining options that will increase access beyond Kansas.

All of these initiatives take time and we know that Kansas districts are in the budget planning process for next year. We wish we could be more specific, but that is not feasible as the moment. A lot of thought has been given to this; it is our strong belief that we will be able to hold the current price for those Kansas districts that agree and work with us serving as field test sites for ongoing BAIP development. We expect to have solidified our plan for the 2010-2011 school year by January 15, 2010 and will write you at that time.  In the interim, if we can be of assistance, please let us know.
