Since the 2048 acres are shared equally among 68 farmers, the number of acres that each farmer has is 2048 divided by 64, which equals 32. Since the farmer in the question plants 1150 ears of corn on each acre, the number of ears of corn that she plants is 32 times 1150, which equals 36,800.
