BAIP News
The BAIP staff welcomed students from Ewah Womans University in Seoul Korea
BAIP hosted Dr. Suk-Hyang and eighteen undergraduate students for a discussion and demonstration of the Blending Assessment with Instruction Program on January 26, 2010. Dr. Suk-Hyang earned her PhD in Special Education at the University of Kansas.
The Korean students spent two weeks at the University of Kansas meeting with faculty in the School of Education. They also visited K-12 schools in the area. In Korea, majors in special education also are required to have an academic minor. Consequently, the students were interested in the science and mathematics lessons as well as tutorials that are part of BAIP.
BAIP subscriptions for 2010-2011
There has been good response to the recent announcement on subscribing to BAIP for the 2010-2011 school year. While we will not be re-issuing the invitation to subscribe to BAIP, any district that did not subscribe this year but wish to be considered for next year, should contact Cheryl Harrod at charrod@ku.edu
