Managing Your BAIP District Contacts - (Administrators Only)
District contacts are those individuals in your district who you want administrating BAIP. Administrative tasks might include loading new teachers into BAIP, removing teachers who’ve left your district, adding a new building that’s opening with the new school year, or shooting reminders out to all of your teachers so they remember where BAIP is, what it has to offer, and how they can sign into their personal BAIP accounts.
Now you know what a BAIP district contact manages, but who manages the district contacts? How do add new district contacts and/or remove district contacts who’ve left the district since the end of last year?
The answer is quite simple. The same set of online tools that district contacts use to accomplish the tasks described above are also the tools used to clean up your list of district contacts.
1. Indentify a BAIP district contact from last year
2. Have this person sign into the BAIP district tools website: http://baip.elearndesign.org/ tools
3. Click the “Add Contacts” tab at the top left of the page
On the right you’ll see a list of current district contacts which you can edit or delete. On the left is a form where you can add new district contacts to the list. A person in the role of “Main Contact” has the same powers as an “Authorized Person” but they will also serve as the liaison between the BAIP main offices and your district. There can only be one “Main Contact” on your list.
That’s all there is to it!
Thank-you for using BAIP and thanks for helping us make BAIP better. As always, please feel free to contact me with your questions and comments.
