Exchange

. . . and from last week’s Exchange

Ginger Gibson from USD 200 Greeley County Schools wrote, "Some of my math students are limited in their ability to do the BAIP tutorials by poor reading skills. While I can sometimes partner them with better readers, this isn't always feasible. Are there any plans to add audio to the tutorials?"

BAIP Response:
This past year we have written descriptions for over 1556 graphics that are distributed throughout our tutorials. These descriptions have been added to the web-based version. So, it is now possible to use the text to speech application that is located in many web browsers. Below is a link to a document that explains what you will need to do to get your browser ready.

General query:
Recently we were asked why our handouts print the answer key first.

BAIP Response:
Each handout is downloaded as a word document starting with the handout and then followed by the answer key. If your handouts are printing the answer key first, you may want to see how your printer is set to print. Printers will give you an option to print the last page first.

Special Thanks
We thank those of you who continue to submit your thoughts and comments to the BAIP Exchange. In addition, we want to send a special thanks to those of you who are reporting errors using the built-in Error Reporting System in BAIP. You are helping us make BAIP better!

Until next, time.
