Content Updates
This column lists changes that have occurred or are planned relative to the lessons and tutorials. The information will range from corrections to clarifications and, occasionly, revisions.
Lessons:
- 3rd grade
- S4.B2.K3abcd, Lesson 1. Definition and use of “Range” throughout lesson, handout, and PowerPoint has been changed from (min., max.) to the difference between the maximum value and the minimum value.
- 6th grade
- S1.B1.K2bc, Lesson 1, PowerPoint. Fraction bars on Slides #1 and #2 have been amended to be of equal length. Fraction bars within the lesson have also been similarly corrected.
- 7th grade
- S3.B2.A1c, Lesson 1, Handout Independent Practice. Answer to Q3 changed from 480 sq. ft. to 736 sq. ft. Answer to Q4 changed from 600 sq. ft. to 480 sq. ft. Changed “slant height” on PowerPoint Slide #9 to “straight height”.
- 8th grade
- S2.B2.A1a, Lesson 1, Handout Independent Practice, Q6. “The sum of Sherry’s age and her dad’s age is 60.” has been changed to “The sum of Sherry’s age and her dad’s age is 60 now.” Answer key has been modified to provide a detailed explanation.
Tutorials:
- 4th grade
- S3.B4.K3, Tutorial 1, Q5. Point P is identified on the grid.
- 5th grade
- S1.B1.K1c, tutorial 1, Q5. Option D has been changed from 80.6 to 800.6. Correct answer has been changed from (C) to (D). Explanation has also been amended to reflect the new answer.
