Password Tips You’re probably all familiar with those tricky BAIP passwords. These computer generated passwords are great for security but not very user friendly. Here are a few tips to make life easier.

When you enter a password, make sure to type it in just as it was sent to you. It’s best to cut and paste your password from your BAIP notification email directly into the main sign in page (http://baip.elearndesign.org), but if you decide to type the password yourself be aware of a few gotchas. Passwords are case sensitive. This means that a lower case letter ‘a’, as an example, is not the same as an upper case ‘A’. Be careful not confuse numeral ZEROS (0) with lower and upper case OHS (‘O’). Also, be careful not to confuse numeral ONES(1) with lower case ELS(‘l’) or EYES (‘i/I’).

You can change your BAIP password. You don’t have to keep the complex, hard-to-remember password assigned to you by the BAIP system. After you sign into BAIP, you can click on your name at the top of most pages to get to your profile where you’re allowed to reset your password.

If you forget your BAIP password, go to the main sign in page (http://baip.elearndesign.org), and click the "Forgot your password?" link. Enter your email as it appears in BAIP to have a password emailed to you. If the reminder form claims your email isn’t recognized by BAIP, check your email for typos, proper casing, remove any spaces at the start or end of the email, and repeat the password reminder request. If BAIP still doesn’t recognize your email, click on the “Contacts” link found in the upper right hand corner of the page and contact our technical staff at the BAIP main office.

Thanks for using BAIP and thanks for helping us make BAIP better. Please feel free to contact me with your questions and comments.
